OS X and Powerbooks make life easier on the eyes

128k MacAnyone who knows me will know I started my life with computers with a 128k Mac in 1984. My work, revolving around Windows boxes has dragged me away from my first-love, and as work just sprung for another new Box, it’s not likely they’ll spring for a Mac as well. So unless I get a money windfall from somewhere I’m on a Windows platform for a while yet. But this doesn’t mean I’ve taken my eye off Macs, ever.

There’s an article in Infoworld about the way the Mac can be configured to be easier on the eyes and has some great implications for anyone who might have trouble looking at a screen for too long, or indeed, at all. The latter solvable with the mentioned VoiceOver software that is included on all OS X ‘Tiger’ Macs.
