The Digital Pencil - finally a solution to the touch pad finger-only issue
August 17th, 2007 | by dnw |Finally, someone has tackled the problem inherent with ‘finger touch’ devices that I’ve written about before a few times.
SUCK UK has developed a Touch Pad stylus, designed as a stubby little pencil, to use on those finger touch devices becoming so prevalent.

Popgadget reports:
Made from a “special space age” silicone material that exactly mimics the electrical resistance and dexterity of a human finger, you can substitute it for your digit with PDAs, laptops and supposedly, iPhones. Imagine how much easier it will be to draw!
No word on pricing yet but it will be available at the end of September from Suck UK.
If this “special” silicone material works as they say then there will be many potential applications for it in todays ‘touch’ world, not just in the disability arena either.
I can’t wait to tape one of these ‘digital pencils’ to my mouthstick and see how it performs!
If someone from Suck is listening, how about tossing a test unit my way? See my Contact page.
