make your own rampCame across this transportable folding ramp on the excellent how-to site “Instructables”.

The ramp looks a beauty…just glue a few strips of emery paper going across this and she’d be non-slip!

Great to see sharing like what’s on the Instructables site. I hope Lifekludger blog will be able to share these similar lifekludging how-to’s over time.

My Dad and friends have thrown together the odd ramp or two for me over the years and while they’ve been small and non foldable, they’ve proved valuable yet cheap ways to kludge my way.

As a portable ramp I use one of these Decpac ramps. They’re made like a surfboard - foam with fibreglass casing, and have a unique folding design.

I’vebeen to the factory here in Adelaide and they’re in a boat builders, so they know fibreglass. My portable ramp stays in my van mostly, though can strap to the back of my wheelchair if needed.
