Listen to Lifekludger

Yes, you can now listen to all the articles posted to Lifekludger.

Under each article there is a icon and text link that reads ‘ Listen to this article’. Simply click on the link and listen. Also it means you can get the audio posts as a rss delivered feed straight into iTunes or some other podcatcher. So you could listen to an actual blog post podcast while you’re mobile.

All this came about after I saw over at ReadWriteWeb blog, Richard MacManus does audio posts of his blog posts. This is a very inclusive kind of practice I thought. I was really interested in the process he uses to do this and how automated it was.

This lead me to a place called Talkr. Talkr take any text feed and turn it into mp3 audio. It’s simple to setup and does quite a good job of speech output.

Now, strangely the audio posts don’t show up in my reader (Bloglines). I guess they’d need to be embedded as enclosures. Anyhow you can get the whole lot of audio articles of Lifekludger as an RSS feed. Point your podcatcher here.
